Terms Conditions

  1. The Fees and Key dates at the foot of this document form an integral part of these terms and conditions.
  2. By submitting your art work through our online process (or manual process with agreement of the committee) you enter into an agreement with The Rotary Club of Casey Inc and agree to comply with these terms and conditions.
  3. All exhibits must be the original work of the exhibitor. The following methods are NOT permitted: Painted copies of Paintings of magazine illustrated Artwork, photocopies of Artwork that have been painted or drawn over or the emulation of other Artworks whatsoever. Ceramic artwork, woven material, photography, pottery and sculpture may not be entered. No wet paintings will be accepted
  4. Up to 4 entries per artist may be submitted using the relevant entry form. Notification of acceptance for exhibit will be sent by dd/mm/2015.
  5. A $5.00 non-refundable submission fee per artwork being entered is payable at time of submission.
  6. An acceptance fee of $10 per exhibit for works up to a maximum 80cm width or length at the longest point and $20 per exhibit for works above 80cm will be payable at the time of acceptance either by MasterCard/Visa via the web site www.caseyartshow.com.au, cheque or by direct debit as per entry form.
  7. The exhibitor shall pay a commission of 25% of the sale price of any exhibit sold at or as a result of the exhibition to the Rotary Club of Casey Inc.
  8. Framed paintings /stretched canvas not to exceed 105cm x 85cm. Stretch canvas is considered framed.
  9. Work must be provided with strong picture wire and flat ‘D’ ring hangers. Apex of wire to reach approx. 100mm from centre of top of frame. All other hooks or wires to be removed.
  10. Works comprising multiple pieces may be entered as one work however such entries will be catalogued and offered for sale as a single item and will not be catalogued or sold as separate items unless entered as separate works and must fall within the size criteria above.
  11. Each work must bear the Label provided and be attached according to the directions.
  12. The committee will view all works that they receive and reserves the right to exclude any works that they may decide as unsuitable for exhibition.
  13. The committee reserves the right not to display some works if the space available is insufficient; however all works will be judged.
  14. Although all care will be taken with the exhibits, the committee suggests that each exhibitor arrange his/her insurance to cover loss or damage including transit to and from the show.
  15. Late entries and late deliveries will not be accepted except at the discretion of the committee.
  16. The entrant permits their works to remain on display for the duration of the exhibition and permits photography, filming and other reproduction of their works for the promotion of the exhibition and sales that may include publication in any form of media.
  17. The Judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  18. Artists are liable for any and all GST on sales and are personally responsible for any and all GST payments and compliance required by the Australian Taxation Office.

Fees:

Submission fee (non refundable) payable at the time of submissions: $5.00

Acceptance fee - Art work longest side less than 80cm (including frame): $10.00

Acceptance fee - Art work longest side greater than 80cm (including frame): $20.00

Payments can be made by MasterCard/Visa (Online or phone), Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), cheque/money order or cash by arrangement

Commission:

By entering this art show you acknowledge that the Rotary Club of Casey Inc is entitled to 25% commission on all sales effected by them and that you have read and understand the above Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them.
